Best one hand saw that I have ever used. The saw started and ran great right out of the.. The saw started and ran great right out of the box plus it has plenty of power. Good power in light weight. My third echo saw. Bought this for limbs and smaller logs. Great power in a lighter saw. Now I have a 33cc 50cc and 60cc and all work flawlessly! It’s very powerful for its size but temperamental to start.. It’s very powerful for its size but temperamental to start. Have a ten year old Echo cs306. Worked much harder than light yard work. Have 40 acreas along a big creek. The beaver’s took out many crosstimber, so wanted a larger engine. I’m a 68 yr old woman. Always a sweet easy start with the Echos. Light and powerful, love it… Light and powerful, love it. Love my Echo chainsaws. Had your Echo cs306 since 10/09. Cut about 8 ricks a year. The beaver’s killed many large crosstimber trees along my Duck Creek, scoring the bottom bark three feet up. Finally, the trees are falling and needed a larger chainsaw. The Echo cs355 is what I grab for cutting really’hard as rock’ cured logs. Use a Dremel for keeping the chainsaw sharp. My husband splits them. Who needs a gym, I’m 68. Great legs and shoulders for an old lady. When I had my cardiology treadmill test the doc said,’I do better than many 30 yr old althlete’s’. As powerful as my Stihl arbor saw and better priced – just as durable. Solid and well made. Great power for the price. Great right out of the box. No need for tuneup. I love my echo that thing is a beast it’s a lost of power in a small package. It has a large gas tank which is great. Handles very well because of balance. This little jewel gets on with the program. And best of all it’s so light that even my 73 years of age can handle it with one hand. It’s a fast cutter and will really surprise you when you’ve made the cut and it didn’t work you to death. Just wish I had one of these models 30 years ago. They say that great things come in small packages and this is no exception. I’ve only used it for a couple of hours but its quality appears to be very good and time will tell. But other Echo products I’ve had were always 5 Star so I feel this unit will fall into that class also. I cut trees professionally and got everyone wanting one. This saw replaces my Stihl ms 193 and 201 which only lasted 6 months and broke down. Husqvarna T540xp my first choice and this echo cs-355T is priced right. I will do a YouTube video reviewing next month. Was very difficult to start until after break in period. Not sure on longevity yet. Cuts great for a top handle Saw. Even better with a Stihl chain. Plan on review using same chain on this and a Stihl top handle. The beaver cuts, eh. Works well plenty of power but at little heavy on the wrist at the tree top. Cut down a 75′ pine tree without any issues! I love this little saw! Best topping saw I’ve ever used! Worked like it should… Worked like it should. Lightweight and plenty of power. I kept going back to the CS-355T due to cost and great reviews. I have cut branches with the Timberwolf (which is a good saw but heavy to climb with). This saw may be small but it has serious power and can be operated with one hand if in a tight spot. It will handle a 12′ tree/branch with no problem. I plan on cutting bigger branches(12′ – 20′) at my camp when it cools down. I have a feeling the bigger branches will not be a issue. Dependability is there, torque and chain speed. Does what I ask without a hick up. I feel like I have my old 200t in my hand. I’ve got to give it to echo, you got your stuff together on this saw. Light and powerful little saw. Great with the 14 bar/chain. Most if my 2 stroke stuff is Echo including an old SRM 2100 type 1E that still runs great. This is my first chainsaw ever….. And i was able to cut down a 40′ avocado tree that wasn’t prod.. Easy to climb with and cut when up in the tree. My buddy had a husqvarna a little bigger but we preferred to go with this one because it was much easier to use. On par with Stihl 201. Great saw, good power, seems very reliable so far. Great saw, I would definitely recommend if your looking for a small but power chainsaw at a good price. I bought this as a back-up to my very old… I bought this as a back-up to my very old, but still running Echo CS3000. It is about the same weight with a slightly larger bar and more power. All of my small saws are Echo brand, while my larger saws are Stihls. All of my saws get used regularly, and maintained after every use. It was easy to start.. It was easy to start. I was looking for a saw that could fit with my budget and that would be competitive with the main brands. Great cutting power, easy start, same weigh as the stihl. It is a great saw for a good price. GREAT FEATURES AT A GREAT PRICE. After looking at others that were available i found this saw to be my best choice (price and dependability considered). This is a great chainsaw. Really starting to lik.. Really starting to like yourProducts. I bought this saw for clearing small saplings and limbing and it has worked great so far. Very light and fast. This is the 3rd 14inch limbing saw I’ve owned the 1st and 2nd lasted seven years each. The light weight also makes it less fatiguing, so it’s my favorite saw. I just wish Home Depot would give veteran’s discount to internet sales. This chainsaw is extremely light yet really powerful, I hardly use my 20 inch anymore. Definitely recommend to everyone. This is the second one I’ve owned!! The first one got stolen so I bought a new one! I love this saw.. it’s got power, always starts and a 16′ bar it’s great! And if I must critique a little thing it’s the stop button.. If it would snap back to the on position after you shut it off it would be great! But not worth complaing over! Especially when the price is so good! This chainsaw was easy to esemble and it started right up. Its pretty light and it easy to use. It has a lot of power for a little chainsaw. Great saw, has been working great for what I need it to do. Very well balanced for trimming.. Very well balanced for trimming. Light and easy to handle! Easy to use and runs well, light. It does have smaller gas and oil holes them I’m.. Arrived timely, very light, easy to use. Would recommend this product to anyone purchasing a chainsaw. I saw other good ratings on this saw. I really like this saw its fairly light which is what i was looking for tired of lugging around heavier ground saws in trees great power and the saw control is excellent I started climbing using the stihl 201t and the 355t is much better in the trees. So far so good. I have had this saw for over a month and it rips. I use 200s and 201s at work and the echo starts and cuts just as good if not better. I’m glad I saved a few hundred bucks going with with echo. It is 5 star product. The little saw that could. I must say, this is my first Echo product. Man, where have I been. I’ve had Huskys and Stihls, and I must say, I’m a Echo man from now on. I’ve only had this saw for less than a month and I’m in love. Hands down the best saw I’ve ever owned and so easy to start. It just feels great in your hands and is so fun to use. You will not be dissapointed. Seems to have lots of power for a top handle just don’t know that it has enough to pull the 16” inch bar that it came with struggles a bit on a 13 to 14 inch round piece of oak, other then that all is great starts on 1st or 2nd pull every time and runs awesome till out of gas. Big bang for the buck. Bought this little bugger to replace my 200t that someone wanted more than myself. Only had it about 4mos, and so far could not be more pleased. Seems to be extremely well engineered. Ergonomics are superior to the Stihl IMHO. Light weight, well balanced w/ a 14 on it, decent power, not quite in the same league with the 200t, but less than half the price. Blows the ms192t out of the water, ran one of the first 201ts and I enjoy running this rascal more. Don’t care much for the Husky top handles, and that’s coming from an avid Husky guy. I own several of their other outdoor products and have never had a lick of trouble with any of them. All this being said I think there may be a CS501P in my future, to go along with my 27 other saws, Husky, Jred, Stihl, and Dolmar, ranging from 30cc to 121cc…… That should make the wife happy! 5 stars for left handed model. I love top handle chainsaws. I had a 330 14 inch which was ok but this 16′ is by far the best I’ve owned. Improvements would be a handle that’s a little more friendly for left handers. Also, the flip out hanging hook is a little flimsy to me and takes a screwdriver to push back in. The metal ring from the 330 model would be be better. This saw is perfect for quick trimming and cuts. Used it after a Hurricane for clean up. More power and torque then the still climbing saw and 2 inch bigger bar. Switching from a Sthil 201t – this saw has the same power, great hand feel, and so far durability.. Switching from a Sthil 201t – this saw has the same power, great hand feel, and so far durability is excellent. Excellent saw, use for arbor work instead of my 201t. Passing on honest feedback. I spent hours like so many others researching stats and reading reviews. Im an average home owner that does do some side work on occasion with my tools. I have used stihl on jobs never husky. I’ll be very honest I haven’t maintained, cleaned, or done anything but abuse The blower. The blower has been running off a 2 gallon mix I made 3 years ago with 87 octane. It starts up 1st 2nd pull every time. I went with the 355t because of this and love it. I want something that I can pull out and use and put away. I originally was going with the 16 inch bar because I could do more but held both the 14 and 16 and went with the 14. The saw has plenty of power. Next day day I decided I was going to grab the cs590 timber wolf for a kick a ground saw but opted out for the cs490 because it was much lighter. Again starts first pull. I will say I font really care for the echo bars and chains and already bought an oregan 16 inch for either sale but overall I can’t complain. I think I will continue with echo products for now. Trust me it’s not a brand thing and I’m not advertising for free. Hopefully my input helps someone else. Good for the price. My general foreman bought one to replace a smaller Husqvarna that I used to use. Runs good, decent power. The only problem I have with it are the cap sizes for the gas and bar oil. The saw is awesome. More than enough saw to take care of all your tree cutti g chores. Fairly light weight and balanced. Cuts better and bigger logs than my.. Cuts better and bigger logs than my echo 20. Im gonna compare it to a still 201t power I’d.. Im gonna compare it to a still 201t power I’d say is equal it’s a little louder weight is compareable it’s a little harder to start it up first time in the morning but it’s not to bad so far so good I’d rather have 2 echos for the price of one stihl 201t. What a great saw! I broke ranks with Stihl when I went searching for an in-tree saw. I shopped all brands and pulled the trigger on the CS-355T. This little guy is a beast! My first tree I used it in was a 30′ Beech. The limbs averaged 6-9′ and 9’x14′ elongated at the trunk. Four straight hours of trimming and only pausing for gas. Not a hint of bogging. It ripped through the limbs with ease and with plenty of power to spare. I absolutely love it! Chainsaw is made for everyday use its Industrial professional-grade the engine Brakes in well and I’ve had no problems with it. Easy to locate by name. Exactly what was needed and arrived earlier than expected. This powerhouse saw just rips threw wood like nothing at all. Chain sharp prime the bubble oil in tank choke pull 1 time choke off pull starts every time so far. Go Facebook look up acl lawn care group llc and see the trees I have took down in no time at all. This chainsaw is very light, and easy to use. It has enough power to cut thru logs all day long. Good lightweight saw for limbs. This is a good saw. It has good power, is lightweight, and is easy to use. The few draw backs are that kickback device gets in the way on larger wood, saw plugs up with really wet wood, and unable to adjust fuel mixture (engine dies occasionally and idles rough warmed up). I had to take this saw to the shop 4 days after I got it because it would not crank after approximately 1.5 hrs of run time. Turns out the factory did not properly set the air gap on the coil. Robison Outdoor Power in Nacogdoches Tx is a new saw shop in the area but is by far the best saw shop I have ever used. Order it and a husqvarna t435 and there’s no comparison… Order it and a husqvarna t435 and there’s no comparison, echo starts easier, runs harder, and best of all it doesn’t leak oil bad since the oil adjuster is clutch driven and not gravity fed like the husqvarna. This a great little machine. The balance, power, and reliability of this saw is exactly what every saw owner wants and should have. I’m not in the tree business however, I’ve been around good saws long enough to know when I see a good one. I use this around my property and it’s a beauty. I own other echo products and it’s almost impossible to have anything negative to say about there equipment. I chose the 355t for its value based off some online research. I immediately removed the limiters, did a muffler mod, abandoned properly tuned the saw. Bury the bar no problem. Good build quality and engineering. I bought this chainsaw to cut my girl friends bush and it worked wonderfully, now I can get where I need to be, good saw for clearing bush!! I’m a climbing arborist and have been climbing for 30 years and I’m impressed with this saw. I have used all of the best top handles out there over the years. I always ended up with the Stilh 020 -200t etc. But since the new EPA restrictions the newer saws got weaker and weaker. The 201t just was a big step down. I tried the 355T and I think it actually has more power and is well balanced. Very happy and impressed overall- so far all ECHO products are my favored. My first was a blower.. Buse it and still works as it did the first day. Slightly underpowered but not terrible. Runs perfect, just like my other Echo small engines. Not quite as fast as my Husqvarna T540 but.. Not quite as fast as my Husqvarna T540 but half the price. Light, well balanced, powerful and priced well. A small saw with big power. I’ve had a CS-330T for 11 years, cutting around 10 cords of fire wood a year. The old saw is still running but I figured I get a new saw before it died. The CS-355T is like my old saw but has a larger engine and more power which makes cutting fire wood faster with less work. Plenty of power , nice comfortable design and balance. I bought the CS-355T to prune live oak trees around our home – it is easy to start and manage while working in trees. I requested the dealer change the bar to a 14inch one which makes the unit very easy to handle. Great saw lots of power. T his saw is a great top handle saw for climbing or bucket truck use. Broke it in on the ground, on 3′ to 4′ or so cleanup. Put a 14′ semi chisel chain on it to begin with. Cuts like a charm. Some complain about the fuel and chain oil holes are to small. I had no problem filling up. Better and more durable then other newer models of professional grade top handled chainsaws. Good power and great value compared to other saws. CS355T for tough little saw. I bought this saw 2 weeks ago when my Stihl 026 needed repairs & I had work that needed to continue. This saw is also smaller & lighter that a rear-handle saw & therefore less tiring to use when the job doesn’t call for a larger saw. I had previously owned an Echo CS300T that was a very good saw. The ONLY problem I have is that Echo does NOT make a suitable ToughCase for these small top-handle saws. The smallest ToughCase is still 4 inches too long in scabbard & the box is larger than necessary. We NEED cases for these arborist saws! Spent a weekend in a boom lift trimming live oaks and palm trees and put 6 tanks through the 355T. I couldn’t be happier with this little guy. I dropped everything from 12′ live oak limbs to Washington Palm fronds and seed pods. For me it’s an ideal pruning saw with an 18′ low profile bar. I don’t consider this or any top handle as a ground saw. If you aren’t working in the air or overhead, I would recommend a rear handle saw. Did the muffler mod after the weekend and now it screams like a banshee… Looking forward to the fall trim. If the 346 is toast, I won’t hesitate to replace it with the 361P (same powerhead). Started right up and is all that was described. Yes, it is a great tool and the power and.. Yes, it is a great tool and the power and weight of it is great for what I needed. I would rate it an EXCELLENT. I have used it to cut about half of a cord of firewood(locust, ash, and oak) to this date. Nothing larger than 8′ diameter and the saw ran like a big saw, not an problems. I can see myself using this saw to do more ground work than originally planned. I have several other saws. The ergonomics of this top handle arborist saw are very comfortable and functional. The saw used less than a tank of fuel and oil to cut this amount of wood. I have yet to try it while in a tree. Well made, good power, comfortable in tree saw. Will perform well against the stihl for hundreds l.. What a handy saw. Top of the line. Had this saw for a couple months now, and it’s above and beyond stihl and husqvarna models. Great price, plenty of power, and good fuel economy. Only drawback is the size of the fuel and oil fill ports… Excellent top handle saw!! Been using this saw to cut up old hedge posts, and live hedge along with several hard maples. Lots of power, light weight and easy to handle. I have a 620P to fell the trees and cut up the trunks and branches over 10 inches. You can’t beat the CS355T for making quick work of cutting off the limbs or bucking up. I have always loved Echo products, I got this saw to use around my yard and my hunting property, wanted something light weight, yet powerful, and this saw is an absolute beast. Easy to start and runs well above my expectations! I bought this saw to replace a CS-341 and so far it’s working well. This one has a 16inch bar compared to my old 14 inch bar (which I prefer) but all-in-all it works well. Had a little difficulty starting it for the first time but that was my error. So far it’s very reliable. You can actually over cut limbs rather than hoping the saw gets through it in time for the limb to do what you need it to do. I have not used a stihl 201 but I can’t imagine that it could get much better for the extra 175. Was easy to mount bar and chain. Nice light saw, I got it specifically for limbing but it has enough power to fell and cut up trunks only limit is the 14′ bar. Suitable for all but the largest trees and logs. Light enough for extended use without tiring. Cuts most wood easily. Starts readily every time. Customer service is our top priority!
